Summary
The Lizard Lounge in New York City is located on W. 54th St. between Broadway & 8th Ave (next to Studio 54). Opened in March 2004, Cityzen Entertainment named us "NYC's Newest Sweet Spot". Capacity is 200 with excellent sound and site lines and a GREAT vibe! We are looking for good, tight bands with a strong following in the NYC area. The venue is sponsored by Rheingold Beer. The Lizard Lounge does not accept hardcore, metal or hip-hop artists. All other genres accepted.
Selected artists will be compensated based on draw at the door. Headliners will be guaranteed compensation.
Please note: All artists who submit will also be considered for a performance slot at Kenny's Castaways on Bleecker St.
Only bands with a minimum draw in New York City of 25 people will be considered.
