2016 Lancaster Music Festival

Lancaster Music Festival 2016 is looking for at least 3 Sonicbids artists to play 3 to 5 shows each at the Lancaster Music Festival in Lancaster, UK October 13-17, 2016. The festival is an award winning celebration of Lancaster’s great musical talent and diversity while also inviting national and international acts to help provide a wide variety of world class music including, but not limited to, jazz, blues, world, classical, folk, indie, punk, rock, metal, pop and more.

Award winning national music festival based on a long weekend in Lancaster, UK. Attendance in 2015 was over 50,000. Nearly 200 acts booked (5 of them Sonicbids) at over 40 venues and locations including the Castle mainstage.

In 2016 we'll be looking for at least 3 Sonicbids acts to perform at least 3 shows each during the festival and possibly as many as 5

• Must be able to cover travel costs to Lancaster (advice in booking domestic transportation provided as needed)
• Primarily interested in original, jazz, blues, soul, world, classical, folk, indie, punk, rock, reggae, metal, pop, gospel (no Christian rock)
• 18+ (all members)
• CME Artist Services has been running tours, exchanges, and events every year since 2001, mainly focused in the UK and has over ten years of experience in sponsoring international acts performing in the UK
• Selected artists will be compensated for their performance. Compensation is based on the venue and is typically between £80+GBP (soloists) and £200+GBP (bands) per show with each show comprising no more than 2 x 45 minute sets. 
• We can not book additional shows for your act outside of the festival.
• Accommodation, where applicable, will be provided for international acts & work permits for non-EU musicians.

Details:

• 2 x 45 minute sets
• Between 3 and 5 shows offered to artists
• One 40 min slot at the headline venue, Lancaster Castle
  
• Outdoor and indoor performances
• Backline provided
• Sound and lighting provided
• Sound engineer provided where applicable

• Compensation is typically between 80+ GBP (approx. $128 USD) for soloists and 200+ GBP (approx. $320 USD) for bands per show (100 GBP for one set)
  
• Per diem is provided per musician in addition to performance fee
• Accommodation, where applicable, will be provided for international acts (includes breakfast)
  
• UK work permits provided for non-European musicians
  
• Artists keep 100% of merchandise sales
