Summary
The John Lennon Songwriting Contest will be reserving 2 slots for Sonicbids artists to perform on the main stage at the 2019 NAMM Show. The (2) winning artists will each receive an extensive prize package including gear, all-access passes to the 2019 NAMM Show and a coveted performance slot! Entry fees from this contest will help support the non-profit 501(c)(3) John Lennon Educational Tour Bus presented by OWC, which provides free hands-on opportunities for students of all ages to create.
The Opportunity
The annual NAMM Show is held in the US and the world's largest trade-only event for the music products industry. It is held every January in Anaheim, CA at the Anaheim Convention Center and includes over 99,000 visitors.
The John Lennon Songwriting Contest will be hosting performances at the 2019 NAMM Show, taking place January 24-27, 2019 in Anaheim, CA. There are TWO slots available for Sonicbids members. Each winner will receive a performance slot on the main stage at the NAMM show and will also bring home an epic JLSC prize package! PLEASE NOTE: selected artists will be responsible for their own travel, accommodations, and expenses

The contest is open to amateurs and professionals around the world in the following genres: Rock, Country, Jazz, Pop, World, R&B, Gospel/Inspiration, Latin, Electronic, Folk, Children's Music, Hip-Hop.
