How the contest works:



  • The winner of Hard Rock Cafe Boston's Battle of the Bands will be placed in one of four world regional categories, which will be narrowed down by a panel of acclaimed industry experts.

  • Bands making it to the final phase will be posted on www.hardrock.com, where fans worldwide will vote on their favorites from each region.

  • All four regional winners will be flown to London, treated like rock stars and given a spot on the bill at Hard Rock Calling 2011

  • The band that receives the most fan votes will open for one of the festival's iconic headliners on the Main Stage at Hard Rock Calling 2011, with the runners-up rockin' out on the Second Stage.

    • Hard Rock Calling 2011 will take place June 24 through June 26 in London's Hyde Park. In celebration of the brand's 40th Anniversary, Hard Rock is launching its first global Hard Rock Battle of the Bands, giving the rock stars of tomorrow the opportunity of a lifetime.
