GNYC Music Company: New York Venue Bookings (Oct-Jan '12)

GNYC Music Company, the company behind M.E.A.N.Y. Fest, is offering the opportunity for artists to perform at notable NYC venues like Delancey, Bowery Poetry Club, Ace of Clubs, and more. Musicians who play a wide variety of mainstream genres are encouraged to submit. Artists must be from New York, be able to draw at least 35 people to their show, and be 21 years and older to play (with the exception of The Bowery). Selected artists receive:

• Artists will be compensated. The amount depends on the artists' draw.


• Artists play 30 minute sets.


• A sound system and backline will be provided at the venue but artists are responsible for bringing their own instruments and any additional equipment.

• Only looking for artists from New York or the Tri State area


• Looking for mostly Rock artists. No hip-hop artists please


• Bookings are available on weekends.


• Artists must be from New York and be able bring in a minimum of 35 people to their show.


• Submitters must be 21 years and older to play (with the exception of The Bowery).

GNYC Music Company was created for the purpose of developing a multi-faceted music & media corporation. GNYC has developed in many areas including its long running cable television show called 'Rockin' Clubs' which aired for over eight years on Time Warner cable. Divisions also include
M.E.A.N.Y. FEST, one of NYC's best rock music festivals, the GNYC artist booking & promotions division, artist licensing, and GNYC productions which is currently developing reality television and film projects.
