Summerfest 2005

Play in the world's largest music festival courtesy of Sonicbids! Summerfest - "The Big Gig" - is the ultimate festival experience that ignites on more than 75 acres along the shores of Lake Michigan in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This annual 11-day music blowout features 13 stages offering live music all day and night in front of over 1 million fans. Summerfest will fill up to 40 slots with artists who submit online through Sonicbids!

The festival celebrates diversity in music and features hundreds of local, regional and national performers in genres including everything from alternative, country, R&B and reggae to blues, zydeco, rock n' roll, pop, Latin and more. Last year's Summerfest performers included Prince, Liz Phair, Jet, Maroon 5, Buddy Guy, Blink 182, Tim McGraw, Paul Oakenfold, Nickelback, The Roots, The Used, Galactic, Damage Plan, Kid Rock, John Mayer, Shelby Lynne, Angelique Kidjo, Switchfoot, Jessica Simpson, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Soil, Dashboard Confessional, Jason Mraz, Taj Mahal, Fountains of Wayne, Talib Kweli, Los Lobos, The Darkness and many, many more.

This year's Summerfest, which will be held June 30 - July 10, will continue to provide exciting and affordable entertainment for all ages and musical tastes, plus a variety of food, shopping and children's activities. Summerfest is a summer destination.
