Dockside Pub - Mahopac, NY

Dockside Pub is a beautiful lakeside restaurant and pub that is quickly becoming one of the premier live music venues in the Hudson River Valley. They are currently accepting from Sonicbids artists for the 2008 season. Acoustic acts are preferred, though all genres are accepted.

Selected artists will have access to ASCAP & BMI licensing paid, a center positioned stage (72sq.’), spot lighting and 2 EV speakers with ¼” input. The venue also offers an advertising budget that promises marketing of your show within a one hour radius of the club in addition to being included in the 800 emails sent out each month. Please keep in mind that Dockside is a live music venue and does not allow synthesizers, looping, etc.

Arists with original music that can also perform about 30% interesting covers would be considered for a weekend date, which would include 2-3 sets beginning at 7pm. Compensation would be determined by guest gratuities and cd sales. Three “Hats” are placed around and with appropriate signage (including table tents) with a suggested $5.-$10. pp contribution.

Any act that feels they have a draw or a point of interest, such as a tribute act or a particular type of music (Celtic, Klezmer, Gospel. Etc.) would be considered for a ticket event. The price for the ticket is set and the act usually gets 90+% of the take. Dockside usually does additional advertising for gigs like this.

All performers are given a $25. allowance towards food and alcohol. Soft drinks are complimentary.
