PLAY: David vs Goliath Music Festival & Series 2020

The David vs Goliath Music & Art Festival & Series is all about Doing it Collectively & Doing It Yourself. Fun-filled Days and Nights of Music & Art Bringing together amazing indie artists for the purpose of nurturing and supporting one another while Celebrating Music & Art, Networking and Independence.

The Festival happens twice a year to celebrate talented musicians who are taking their career to great heights Independently and Collectively. The festival coordinators are looking to book Sonicbids artists of a wide variety of genres to perform starting in January, in New York City. They've added Art Exhibits along with the Live Music to make for great nights of Music & Art. Any bands or Musicians that are also disciplined in the creative fields of Fine Art, Sculpture, Illustration, Photography, Graffiti, Video... Please submit your creations.  

All submitting artist will also be considered for the David vs Goliath Monthly Music Series. The Series will take place at least once a month in NYC at the venues, such as Bowery Electric, Cin-M-ArtSpace17, Fontana's and Cin-M-Art Space43 Tribeca + art exhibits and other clubs to be announced. Selected artists will be required to provide promotional materials. 

The Festival launched in February 2011 with great success. Without any major sponsorship other than some assistance from VP's and influential industry friends, David vs Goliath Music Festival drew big crowds who experienced unforgettable music. 

In a time when the music industry paradigm is in turmoil, in this present day and time there is a need for something new. David vs Goliath Music Festival & Series acknowledges the fact that Grassroots is where it all begins. In the streets, in the garages, in the indie live music clubs, whether small, medium size, even in the 500 + capacity venues, here is where it all starts. David vs Goliath Music Festival coordinators have banded together to bring forth an effort to give all an opportunity and to nurture our peers, brought forth by musicians for musicians and of course the fans.

Submitting bands should be from the USA. But, all are considered as long as they cover their own traveling expenses & accommodations. 

East Coast (NYC/NJ/Philadelphia/New England +areas) will be given preference. All bands should also have a good draw in New York City. 

Compensation for performing artists will depend on draw unless a proven national act.
