Summary
Chuggles Restaurant and Bar is known as the music place to be in the small, artistic community of Antigonish, Nova Scotia in Canada. Typically hosting jam, rock, and reggae bands and DJs bands such as The Jimmy Swift Band, Slowcoaster, and the Trews, they are open to broadening their musical horizons with the business having just changed ownership. Local, regional, and touring acts are welcome to apply for performance consideration. This venue has a capacity of 300, and has been open for over 10 years.
While Chuggles has a number of dedicated music goers, a local draw is helpful when being booked. Compensation is provided and negotiated at time of booking. Typically, they host one opening act and one headliner on Fridays and Saturdays.
All band members must be at least 19 years old. Chuggles will hire a company to take care of sound production if the band does not do this themselves.
