PLAY: Brooklyn Night Bazaar (Summer)

Defalco Presents is looking for Sonicbids artists to play the eclectic Brooklyn Night Bazaar throughout the summer! It's that time of the year for local and touring bands to come and play at one of the best music venues in NYC! Brooklyn Night Bazaar is looking for awesome bands to play throughout the summer and early fall. With a dedicated local following, this is a great way to build your reputation in and play with other great bands.

Brooklyn Bazaar is a confluence of night market, restaurant, concert venue, disco, Karaoke lounge, ping pong parlor, mini-golf course that brings together New York's creative independent vendors, musicians, chefs, artists breweries, and wineries. Always free to enter!  Shows are now sometimes ticketed.

Doug DeFalco started as an assistant booker at Southpaw in 2002 and worked there until it's closing in 2012. He created the famous Pool Parties Series at McCarren Pool as well as the epic Rational Animals GIMME SHELTER 2006 concert with The Beastie Boys, Blondie and others. DeFalco Presents continues to book/promote shows at venues all over Brooklyn as well as Manhattan including The Brooklyn Night Bazaar, The Riis Park Beach Bazaar, and the MoBeat Series at Brooklyn Bowl.

• Various genres including pop, rock, soul, jazz, funk, hip hop 
• The Bazaar is a 1000 capacity venue with a 400 capacity performance space. They are looking for acts that fit the vibe of the venue and the bill 
• Artists that apply need to be able to bring a fan base to the events. It's a large venue and demands artists with a following. Although there is some walk-up traffic, artists need to contribute themselves

  Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play

  
  

  Bands are able to sell merch on-site

  
  

  All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase

Additional Compensation Details:

• Gigs are paid based on door deals/ticket splits/guarantees all dependent on the show itself
• Drink tickets and meal discounts are given to bands
