Summary
The Indie Artists Alliance Compilation IV: Backbeat is seeking hard driving songs, with or without lyrics, that make listeners move their feet. Songs of all genres are welcome that are well written, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered. Songs submitted should display originality, creativity and have a strong backbeat.
Songs selected for the compilation CD will be chosen through both a judging panel and public voting process. All content received will be uploaded to www.imuzic.com, where fans can listen and vote for their favorite music. iMuzic will also be make this music available for download for $0.89 per track, with musicians receiving a 70% split of the revenue (easily make your submission fee back).
Additionally, iMuzic will also be providing html codes so you can point your fans to the streaming player where they can vote for your song.
Winners will be picked from a combination of scores:

Additionally, all submitting artists will receive a copy of Contracts for Independent Musicians and a $20 discount coupon for CD production from CDDVD Now.

1,000 physical CDs will be manufactured and distributed by Indie Artists Alliance and iMuzic.com to Music Supervisors and as film, television and Indie radio contacts. Release date of the compilation is scheduled for January 2008.
