Summary
The 2019 Richmond International Film & Music Festival (RIFF) is booking up to 15 Sonicbids bands for our event showcasing the best local, regional and national acts in conjunction with their celebrated international film festival. Selected artists will receive passes to the events. Top award winners of each music category will also receive awards during Sunday's Red Carpet Awards.
The Opportunity
In addition to being one of the largest international competitive film festivals in the mid-Atlantic, RIFF places a heavy focus on music each year. In 2017, the festival expanded its annual music showcase to include local, national, and international bands who will perform at various venues around Richmond, Virginia. On top of providing great entertainment from some of the music industry's hottest talent, RIFF utilizes this area as a platform for filmmakers and musicians to forge new working relationships.

The Band
- Open to a wide variety of genres
- Open to bands from all over
- Must have a history of professional performances and high-quality recordings
The Gig
Details:
- Shows may be in- or outdoors
- Set times range from 30 mins - 1 hour
- Sound equipment provided
- Entrants will be notified by January 3rd if selected the perform

- Compensation for bands will be the same as for filmmakers. If accepted artists will receive a VIP full access pass to all music showcases (all band members) as well as up to two full access badges to the film festival and corresponding events, up to a total value of $2,000.
