2016 Officially H.O.ME is booking up to 20 Sonicbids bands to perform in August 2016. Selected acts may be compensated.
The Opportunity
Officially H.O.ME - The History of Me is the era-2-era retro music festival, which celebrates the 70's, 80's, 90's to the 2000's eras of popular music to support the fight against cancer. They are looking to add emerging bands as supporting talent for this retro festival. The 3-day event happens across 3 main stages and expects to bring upwards of 15,000 attendees. The event well feature live music, artist installations and sculptors, a beer garden, ferris wheel, camping, skate pavilion, dance studio and tons of food vendors.
The Band
- Welcome to folk, reggae, classic rock, alternative, rap, R&B, country and acoustic genres
- Open to tribute bands as well as original acts
- Must be age 18+ to perform
- Must be family-friendly; absolutely no profanity
The Gig
Details:
- Multiple, outdoor stages
- 45-minute set
- Original acts on Friday and Sunday, tribute acts on Saturday
- Sound and lights provided
- A full backline including drums (minus symbols) will be provided for all stages
- If applicable, a compensatory arrangement will be negotiated in the selection process
- May sell merch and keep 100% of profits
- Inclusion in official event promotion
