FabForward -- A Tribute to the Beatles' Solo Years and winner of the 2016 Fest for Beatles fans N.Y Metro Battle of the Bands contest will be performing one set at the New Jersey State Fair/Sussex County Farm and Horse Show on Saturday, Aug. 6, at 4 p.m. in the Performing Arts Tent.
FabForward transports fans through an audio and visual music compilation tribute through the song catalogs of the solo music of the four former Beatles. Comprised of five talented musicians from New Jersey and New York, FabForward guarantees fans the chance to hear the sounds of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.
FabForward wowed about 1,000 audience members at the 2016 Fest for Beatles Fans by delivering an energy packed version of Paul McCartney's popular rock anthem "Jet." The band won the Battle of the Bands over seven other bands, including last year's Fest winners.
The band formed this year and has been drawing crowds everywhere they perform.
According to founder/bassist Frankford resident and Sussex Middle School Teacher Kerri Freda, "There are a countless number of Beatle sound-alike and look-alike groups, but up until now there has never been a musical act that captures what it "might have been" if the Beatles had reunited and played their solo music together in concert! It's music's most asked ‘What if?' "
What makes FabForward unique is each band member is responsible for delivering the lead vocals of the former Beatles, including Freda, the only female member of the band, who sings the vocals of Linda McCartney and Yoko Ono.
