Biography

My name is Michael Spearman. My stage name is Fa’Ness. I was born and raised In Pittsburgh, PA. Daineene Spearman and Michael Booker are my parents, and I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters. I have traveled every corner of my city and I am proud to say that I know many people and many people know me. I started writing music at the age of 10 years old. The first rap I ever wrote was a battle on paper against my brothers. I chewed both of them!! They’ll probably tell you different lol.

I moved to North Carolina with my dad at the age of 9. We stayed in NC for two years and then we relocated back to Pittsburgh. I believe I could have had a very successful career in basketball. I was actually considered one of the best basketball players in every school I attended. I graduated from Woodland Hills High School. I could have gone to college and played basketball and more than likely went to the league; however, I chose to take a break from school.

I spent a couple of years working, and running the streets. Pretty much doing things I shouldn’t have been doing. As I continued writing and recording music I was able to get a handle on my life. I went back to school , and I also found a love for boxing. I boxed for a couple years, and continued writing and recording music.

My biggest influences in my life are my dad and my mom. They both have been through so much in their lives, but they both overcame life’s obstacles and still remain strong and they are doing what they need to do to have a decent life. That is what motivates me and gives me perseverance no matter the situation.

Years later I find myself back in North Carolina. I reside in Charlotte, and I have hit the music scene very hard. I have accomplished many great things here. I have been in countless showcases, and have had the pleasure of working with Interscope/Aftermath on a music video. I’m currently the VP of Sales and Marketing and the Director of Artist Development for Kelz Productions. I am just very thankful for all of the opportunities that I have had and will continue to grind patiently to fulfill my dreams in life.

I am looking forward to a very bright and successful future. Some of my biggest influences in music are 2pac, Nas, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Fabolous, Drake, Usher, and J. Cole. - Danny Diaz
