Eddie “Street Prezz” Gramz Biography

Born and raised in Toulminville, AL, Eddie Gramz, self-proclaimed Street President, has always been popular among his peers. His ambitious way of life and charismatic smile captivates everyone he meets. Born August 12, 1989 , Gramz did not grow up with a silver spoon. He had to hustle for everything he wanted. His drive and determination grew from his will to survive. After numerous run-ins with the the law and a prison stint, Gramz begin to cultivate his love of music. While incarcerated, he wrote freestyles and often performed them for other inmates. After being released from prison in 2015, Gramz decided to put his rap talents to work. He dropped a first freestyle on Facebook that inspired him to take his career a little further. With influences from a childhood friend/brother/artist in Keon ‘BlackCat’ Smith, Gramz started looking to make things happen. In October 2016, Gramz linked up with Dre Day. They began an artist/manager relationship that was out of the ordinary and it was then that the “Street Prezz” movement took flight. November 8, 2016 Gramz dropped his first official mixtape “FukAVote”. It took the city of Mobile by storm. He sold 500 CD’s during his first month without releasing the tape online. Shortly after releasing “FukAVote”, Gramz began to prepare for his next mixtape entitled “The Inauguration”. The Inauguration was released January 20, 2017 with the hit single self-titled “GRAMZ!” and songs like “Bet It” and “Skool Boy” with one of Alabama’s hottest artist Spank Lee have also been making people open a ear to the Street Prezz. In just a few short months, Gramz has opened for the likes of Money Man, DJ Drama, and Young Dolph. He also has done several interviews in Mobile, AL Huntsville, AL and Atlanta, GA. Gramz draws from his childhood and past experiences to make music that people can relate to. He has a way of articulating himself and making you feel pain, sorrow, happiness and loyalty through the music he creates.
