Dylan Swinson started performing in Charleston, South Carolina in early 2013, playing open mics around the region. He quickly gained recognition for his artisty and powerhouse vocals, dislayed in his one man acoustic shows, from big name local artists like Tyler Boone, See Water, Trick Knee, and Tom Mackell. After playing in the Lowcountry for 2 years, he finally released his debut EP "Freedom & Solitude" on July 18, 2015. He has since gone onto perform on Lowcountry Live (a local live talk show), and Balcony TV, proving to boost his popularity. His song "Downtown" was played on Walterboro's i93.7 radio, his first song to be aired on the radio. His latest single "Playing for Keeps" is currently on rotation at 105.5 The Bridge in Charleston. Dylan views songwriting as a way to not only express himself, but also to spread a message to people. Weather it is a message about unity, self images, or following your dreams, Dylan hopes to inspire people that it is never too late to follow your dreams and work for them no matter who is for you or against you. Dylan continues to play venues around and outside the Charleston area. He currently records his music at Hybrid Audio Solutions in West Ashley, Charleston, where he plans to release a new song every 3 months.
