Bio
Dreion is an electrifying singer-songwriter, musician, producer, and performing artist from Omaha, Nebraska. He was a 4-Chair turn contestant on Season 26 of The Voice, a part of the first ever Team Snoop Dogg. Dreion has had the great privilege of opening for and collaborating with iconic artists such as Earth, Wind, and Fire, Lalah Hathaway, Musiq Soulchild, Bootsy Collins, J. Ivy and many more. He has performed at many prestigious venues and events including the College World Series, TD Garden, and the legendary Grand Ole Opry.
An alumnus of Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor's Degree in Songwriting minoring in Africana Studies who balances his career and performing life while also being a husband and a father. Dreion is an advocate for foster care reform. As a survivor of the foster care system himself, he uses his music to inspire and shed light for foster youth. He currently partners with national foster care organizations such as First Star Academy and Philip Bailey’s Music Is Unity Foundation as an ambassador to champion the needs of foster youth. In 2020, original music from Dreion’s debut EP “I AM LIFE '' was featured in the film “Foster Boy'' produced by Shaquille O’Neal to highlight the struggles and challenges foster youth face every day. His music can be best described as a combination of Gospel, Soul, Funk, and R&B, taking inspiration from Prince, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Michael Jackson, and many more.
