When music reflects life... Dj Tru Blu delivers authentic sonic creations like none other. Seamlessly merging lyricism w/ hit record elements allows Tru Blu to craft soundtracks that draws in the casual listener, yet satisfy hip-hop heads. From opening up for the likes of Mannie Fresh, or LL Cool J at the largest club in the nation Club Lavela, to working directly w/ Bushwick & Bun-B, Tru Blu has always been rooted in the foundation of hip-hop from a genuine place.
Initially an artist, production and dj'ing came later as he rounded out his musical repertoire. But where he's always truly shined, is in song writing. His penmanship paves the way for aural experiences that sound like hits w/o trying too hard... w/o a cookie cutter formula. W/o the cliche...
