Denzel Williams, Born September 22nd 1991 is a Connecticut born Singer, Songwriter, Producer and Rapper whom has been involved in music since the age of five. Being that he was raised on Old School Music, his style and sound reflects just that which is why those who know him personally say he is an “Old Soul”. Throughout his school career Denzel has been in many musicals and has had solo parts in his school choir. Denzel was one of the performers at the World's Largest Pledge Anti- Bullying Festival in Upstate, New York; he also was the Opening Act for The Jackie Robinson Park of Fame Music Fest 2016. He also has performed at local bars around the area. Denzel took his talents to Amityville New York to perform for the EarWaxxSessions and was asked to return. August of 2014, Denzel released his debut EP, “Mr. Williams” that has been circulating the internet on sites such as Sound Cloud and can now be purchased on iTunes; it can also be heard on iHeartRadio.
Denzel performing this music is his way of paying homage to the music he was brought up on and love. This is his way of letting listeners know where his heart lies. With this EP, Denzel managed to take listeners on a nostalgic trip down memory lane. What one fan had to say about “Mr. Williams” was “It's like 1989 all over again”. At just 26 years old Denzel has a true understanding of what good music sounds like. His influences are artists such as Michael Jackson, Prince, New Edition, Guy and many more. With his song “I Want To Know (What A Girl Wants)” many have said he reminds them of New Edition. Currently Denzel is working on his next album.
