Bio
Danielle Cooke is a local artist, musician, and teacher in South Orange County. She has been playing music for over 20 years and teaching for over 10 years. In high school and college she played classical piano and sang opera. She graduated from California State Long Beach in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. During college she took a history of Jazz class and fell in love with the blues. Soon after college, she experimented with various genres including jazz, blues, pop, rock, and a bit of country. She found her true niche in music when she took a songwriting class at a local community college, which led to her discovering her unique songwriting style, which combines pop, rock, blues, country, and a bit of classical. Which also led her to pick up the guitar, her main instrument for writing her own music. In 2021 she released her first album Spellbound and early summer 2023 she released a single called Fire and stone. Currently she is working on two albums and performing all her originals, including songs for upcoming albums, as well as great cover songs in Orange County.
