D-ROCKSTEADY

In a sea of electronic music, D-ROCKSTEADY stands out not only with his innovative sound design and music theory background, but also with his ability to express through a unique blend of layered synthetic and acoustic textures.

With his first single, 'Wandering', we are brought into our own unique world with use of subtle voices, percussive textures, and sounds of natural ambiance.  Breathing, murmuring, and other vocal elements are used to guide us through a journey of ups and downs; whether it provides a soundtrack to the journey of our ongoing lives or simply that of the wandering that exists in our own minds.

D-ROCKSTEADY plans to release a four track EP: 'Wandering' set to drop March 7th, 2017.

The second single off the EP, 'Cozy', provides us with the blissful state of being warm and connected.  The track contains a heart-pulsing beat accompanied by swelling sliding guitars and a screaming rhodes piano, all while synthetic textures of happiness swirl above and envelop us.

D-ROCKSTEADY writes, "At first, I wanted to create music strictly to be understood; it was just to help me really.  I wanted others to know what I was feeling, what I was hearing, and before making music, there was no way effective way that I could bring that reality to someone else.  Everyone wants to be understood, but yet we fail to achieve absolute understanding with one another.  I hope my music makes it a bit easier to understand ourselves by creating unique moments we can all connect with.  Oh yea, and when it drops on the dance floor, it still be lit like a mf!"

D-ROCKSTEADY also writes, "I love electronic music because it provides so much room for innovation.  Every day there are new sounds being conjured up and released that simply no being has ever heard before.  I think you'll be pleased to hear the unique sounds in my productions.  I highly encourage you to listen to this on a good pair of headphones or on some high-fidelity sound system, or else you'll probably miss it."
