County Rexford, drunken whiskey band of ne'er-do-wells and ruffians who hail from Denton, TX, specialize in Celtic music, specifically instrumental music and drinking songs. Instrumentation includes fiddle, tin whistle and flute, octave mandolin and tenor banjo, and percussion such as bodhr犧｣犧］ and spoons, and repertoire includes original and traditional tunes. County Rexford is the house band at the Abbey Inn in Denton, performing every Wednesday (when not on the road) since 2008. The group has also released one album, 2014's "The Life and Times of the One and Only Padraig Lafferty, Jr." on Break-a-Pick Records, and are at work on their second disc.
