"Color Collision's live performances are an absolute delight to watch. The atmosphere in the audience can only be described as infectious and the energy onstage rivaled that of bands with members twice their age. They are Bridgeport's new 'biggest thing' for good reason."
-Alison Del Valle - Connecticut Post
"It's not hard to see why Color Collision has had this level of success after so short a time. They are incredible at what they do and what they do is incredible."
-Julian Shively - New Haven Register
"When a music act does something wildly different and does it well, people tend to notice. What we are witnessing now with Color Collision's meteoric success is a prime example of this phenomenon."
-Lily Aston - The Bulletin
"Color Collision is among the greatest college band successes. Their fusion and melding of genres, while hauntingly familiar, is entirely unique. It's that one-of-a-kind sound that has won them a passionate fan-base and raised our expectations of what's in store for them in the future."
Lianna Wagner - Billboard Magazine
"Believe the hype. What was witnessed at the Bowery Ballroom this evening is among the finest newcomer set-lists I've seen in much too long. Color Collision is not only killing the game, they're reinventing it."
-Alexander Olsen - The New York Times

Bio
Color Collision was formed in December of 2016 as the brain-child of Joseph “Joe” Perkus and Joshua Bustamante. As music majors at the University of Bridgeport, they brought together ideas of blurring genre lines and advancing today’s music into the future. They soon began attempting to form a band and record music alongside vocalist Susanna Bustamante, Joshua’s sister. The trio's style of music has been described as a fusion between a myriad of genres ranging from rock, hip-hop, reggae, world, and pop.
Joseph Perkus is a co-producer as well as drummer and guitarist. His past musical experience includes work as a disc jockey as well as accompanist to university ensembles.
Joshua
Bustamante is also a co-producer with instrumentalist credits as a violinist,
violist, and pianist. He has previously performed in varying styles of
musical ensembles ranging from classical orchestras, jazz bands, pop-rock
ensembles and church worship groups.
Susanna Bustamante previously trained in jazz and classical styles. She has been the lead singer of jazz ensembles and church worship groups. As a solo artist, she has performed classical selections as well as pop music.
Color Collision released their eponymous album on October 8,
2016. Notable recent performances include partaking in the Young Artist’s Music
Festival at Carnegie Hall in New York, NY as well as opening for rock band
Twenty One Pilots on their Emotional Roadshow Tour. They have performed on
various radios such as WPKN 89.5FM and STAR 99.9FM to promote their recent
album.
In the future, Color Collision plans to embark on their very first US tour beginning with a show at the Webster Arena in the band’s hometown of Bridgeport, CT. Additional venues include Madison Square Garden and Mohegan Sun Arena.
