Cielle On Solid Ground is an all original, female-fronted, blues infused indie rock band based in Ithaca, NY. Cielle (Catherine Layton) vocalist and acoustic rhythm guitarist joined by the On Solid Ground band, Curtis Kretz on drums, Joseph Rayle on bass, Johnny Driscoll on electric guitar, and Joe Smellow on wind instruments have played together since 2023. Cielle's reflective real life inspired songs range from raucous blues to emotional ballads. This band's infectious sound and energy pack venues throughout the Finger Lakes region. This up-and-coming band is garnering much attention and is a must see!
