Christopher Mills

Growing up in the small town of Bastrop, TX Christopher Mills has always been surrounded by music. Encouraged to sing in the church choir at Mt. Rose Baptist Church he showed great vocal talent at an early age. Even though he took piano and guitar lessons early on neither really took and it wasn't until a high school talent show in his junior year of high school that Christopher really discovered his love of performing on stage. 
While sharing a one bedroom apartment with long time best friend Cris Womack the discovered a strong partnership for writing songs. Chris was, however, still reluctant to take the stage with the new materiel but after some convincing the pair recruited bass player Eric Thompson and formed the early stages of a band called Eleven Dollars. Though the group would change membership over the years they went on to record 2 successful albums, "The Missing Pieces EP" and "Studio B", both released on Blue Pie Records. 
In 2013 the band took a hiatus and Christopher began performing as a solo act in and around North Texas. Bringing to the stage an excitement for performing and entertaining an audience, solo shows began to attract more and more attention as well as larger and larger audiences. 
His sound as been described as deep and soulful with a hint of country stemming from Texas and folk music roots. Chris is an established and accomplished song writer, particularly when it comes to lost or new found love. Christopher has also been known to entertain the crowd with a few jokes as well as cover songs such as "Too Close" from Alex Clare and "If You Could Only See" by Tonic. 
Christopher Mills brings excitement and rich acoustic music to the stage every time he steps up to a microphone, incorporating something new with each show.
