Ces Indie

Ces Indie was born and raised in Illinois. Growing up in a small town, she had her eyes set on the big cities, flashing lights, and red carpets. The hopes and dreams of a young girl would soon be pursued. The impossible was always possible to Ces, even as a young girl. Inspired by artists such as Aaliyah, Whitney Houston and Destiny's Child, Ces knew music was her calling from a very young age; She would watch her TV set in awe of what affect the big time stars had on people, and how music could create so much inspiration. 

Ces begin her musical journey at age 12.  She was a part of a vocal group called "Simply Sweet".  The group included her two older sisters, and neighbor. The group participated in various talent showcases across Central Illinois. When singing and performing gave way to school activities for the group, Ces began to take the steps to pursue her own career.

 Not knowing where to begin with her solo career, Ces began writing song after song, in hopes of one day recording them. At age 16 she recorded her first song entitled “We Got It”". The song created an unexpected buzz in her hometown. Ces submitted her song to a local radio station that gave listeners a chance to call in and vote. "We Got It" landed the number two spot for 8 consecutive weeks; Fueling her desire to optimize her talents. Ces continued to write and complete her first album: "Snap & Pose". In 2008; and In 2009.  In 2011   Ces performed the National Anthem numerous times at University sports events.  She also had the opportunity to perform her original music at NAACP Conventions. In early 2012, Ces sought out a band to perform live shows with her. Ces performed at various clubs such as the well-known ‘Elbo Room’ in Chicago, and also for the Renaissance Hotels RLife Live Indie artist showcase events.

Ces Indie is hitting the music industry full force with her most recent release “Wicked Game”.  The track highlights her unique melodic vocals, layered over an intense bass filled instrumental. Her invigorating sounds are a blend of pop/dance and soft rock.  “Wicked Game” became an instant fan favorite gaining her an international fan base.  The past year she has gained immense popularity through social media.   With a work ethic beyond her years Ces embodies the drive, talent, and inspiration that is bound for success. Ces Indie is an all-around artist with songwriting, singing, and performing under her belt. This triple threat sensation knows the importance of individuality, confidence, and connecting with her fans.  Ces has well over 20 million Cable video views, 900,000 YouTube views, as well as millions of image, video, and music views worldwide.

Currently, Ces is working on her next single, and album.  Her next single is due to be released in the summer of 2015, before her next album. Stay Tuned, the best is yet to come from this talented musician.
