Carrie Williams

I am a Texas singer/songwriter/musician, born and raised in Beeville, Tx, & currently living in San Antonio. I released my debut EP: 'Face It' in the Spring of 2015. It consists of 6 original songs & can be purchased on iTunes, Rhapsody, Spotify, Amazon, & many other web distributors. I am in the process of recording my debut full album & hope to release it by Spring 2016. 

I primarily play guitar, but enjoy playing & incorporating a variety of instruments: ukulele, harmonica, keys, melodica, percussion, etc... My sound, or so I've been told, can be described as 'Folksy', 'Country', 'Americana' with a vibe of 'Blues', 'Indie', and 'Alternative'. A gentleman once described my style as "Patsy Cline meets Janis Joplin". "I DO adore the both of them!:)", I responded with gratitude.

 My gig repertoire contains English & Spanish songs, and is an eclectic mix of genres & decades. I simply have no favorite genre OR decade of music to play. I do my best to play cover songs accurately, but very much enjoy purposefully adding my own twist. Thus, I jokingly state that I play covers, originals, and covers that turn into originals. 

With my music, I aspire to INSPIRE. I hope to share music that will facilitate positive energy in the world...& that will spark emotions of balance & healing within those who experience it. I am an open book with music. Songwriting, fact or fiction, provides me an outlet to express , receive, & process EMOTION. Music connects me to the world around me & to the beings within it.
