About the festival:Clevelands Winter Art & Music Festival began in 2010 as a small collaboration of graduate students with several hundred people coming out to enjoy some art, music and fun outside in a snowy city park. Each year the festival has exponentially grown in size with 1,700 attendees in 2011, 10,000 attendees in 2012 and 20,000 attendees in 2013.All aspects of the festival are completely free for attendees, made possible by sponsorship, grants, and individual donations to Brite Cleveland, the registered 501c3 non-profit which organizes Brite Winter each year.The festival is characterized with unique lighting installations located throughout the Ohio City Market District and a host of 50 or more diverse genre music showcases on over a half dozen stages, indoors and outdoors. The music showcases are curated through Cleveland based music production company, Bad Racket Recording Studio, and feature stand out upcoming artists from across North America.
