I'm originally from Brockton, Massachusetts, but when I started taking rap and production more seriously, I moved to Atlanta. Atlanta helped shape my sound and pushed me in the direction of a more melodic style. Now my journey has taken me to LA.I describe my music as melodic and thoughtful with exceptional flow. I'm a songwriter but I'm first a rapper.Outside of making music, I've partnered with a small software team to make some cool apps related to music and nightlife, and I love to collaborate ih my friends in fashion.I'd like to be known for making my own great and useful music early on, and then evolve into a larger creative role. Massachusetts native, Brandon Tory (brandontory) has had the opportunity to showcase his creative talents through his unbending passion for music. Introducing a fresh sound that holds a melodic touch and hard hitting lyricism. He explored these talents in his mixtape titled “Womb,” and elaborated on them in his single “Draya.” Residing in Atlanta, brandontory continued to perfect his craft and left his mark when his hit “Draya” was featured on a variety of radio stations as well as on the Street Certified Bangaz Mixtape hosted by Dj Such and Such.
Brandon Tory has begun to carve a unique lane in his new home of Los Angeles. Describing his music as “melodic and thoughtful with exceptional flow,” the RnBass genre which is commonly full of heavy 808’s has just met its acoustic match.
The winner of the “Team up with Timbaland” contest sponsored by Lenovo, Microsoft and Open Lab Promotions. Brandon Tory had a chance to meet with the Mega Producer after delivering the magic that won the contest, his track “Movie Star Bad.” Coming along for the ride was his single “Comfortable” a fusion of what he does best, rapping and singing.
Preparing to drop his visual for “Comfortable” early this year, brandontory has been on the grind and shows no sign of slowing down. Catch him Friday, January 30th at the House of Blues at 8430 Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles.

The competition is heating up for the finalists of Timbaland and Lenova’s “Team Up With Timbaland” song contest. Out of over 6,000 entries, only five received a personal phone call from the legendary producer who then requested a second original song. While fans were able to help at the beginning, Timbland will be using this second submission to pick the Grand Prize winner.
“I feel like when I do music, I do it for my ears only,” he said in the competition’s promo video. “I do what I like and I keep the youth around me to keep me vibrant.”
Amongst the five finalists is Brandontory (Brandon Tory Thorpe), a Brockton, Massachusetts, native, who is now in L.A. pursuing his musical dreams. Ngan, Tora Woloshin, Hannah Ayers and Rochelle Jordan are also finalist.
Once chosen, one of these artists will live out their dreams of collaborating on a song with Timbaland. Along with a companion, the winner will be flown to Miami where they will spend the day in the studio with their idol.

Bio
Independent recording artist Brandon Tory hails from Boston, MA. His savvy/clever/talented word play, versatile hip-hop approach and unique style have landed him on plenty hip-hop enthusiast radars.
While in Atlanta he teamed up with DJ Era of the Academy to drop his freshman mixtape Womb. Following the success of the mixtape, Brandon Tory released the single “Draya”. Draya was received very well in Atlanta and became a part of the regular rotation in the clubs and featured on Street Certified Bangaz mixtape hosted by DJ Such and Such.
Continuing his pursuit, he made the bold decision to move across the country, where he currently resides in Los Angeles. Since relocating he has made an almost seamless transition while maintaining his focus on music. Brandon is no stranger to hard work and discipline and since moving to California he has shot a music video for his next single “Comfortable”, flew to Miami to work with legendary producer Timbaland who also cosigned Brandon’s work and has performed numerous shows at the House of Blues.
You can make an argument that 2014 has been quite productive but, Brandon Tory looks to carry that momentum into the New Year, and the future looks bright.
