Meet Blanche J, the talented SoulFunk artist who landed on the Dallas music scene a little over a year ago. This soulful Southern crooner and vocal coach has been blessing us with her unique mixture of neo-soul and R&B music that gives a hint of her Gospel background, and it is beautiful. In 2019, Blanche submitted a video on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert. We were blown away by her vocal range and the range of emotions that her voice evokes in listeners. Blanche J is an up and coming Soul, Funk, and R&B vocalist and songwriter, out of Dallas, TX. Blanche is best known for her warm, rich tone, vocal abilities, and her top single, “Grey Skies,” released in winter 2017. “Grey Skies” currently boasts 410k+ streams on Spotify, thanks to Blanche's 24k+ monthly listeners. Blanche’s latest album, Voice Memos B, produced by Micki Miller, is buzzing internationally, spending three consecutive weeks at #1 on the UK's Global Soul Charts and finishing at #5 on their Top 30 in 2019 Chart. In addition, Blanche J was recently nominated for the Ground Breakin's 2019 Best Soul Female Artist and Best Soul EP, for Voice Memos B, in the UK.
