Bio
Matthew Arellano, A.K.A., “Beazie Beats” grew up in in the Inland Empire (I.E.) in a musically diverse home with his parents and neighborhood friends. He began his music career early during the ever growing Hip Hop revolution in the 1990’s where he performed at family gatherings, schools functions, and local parties all along honing his musical career. He was greatly influenced by Hip Hop, Funk, Motown, Oldies, and Rock & Roll resulting in a well-rounded foundation for his musical journey. And as a teenager he also began playing guitar and keyboards with a local garage band while his Latin heritage also exposed him to influences from various Latin styles of music. Eventually he became very well versed in all genres of music and his musical talents and diversity soon launched him into one of the premier DJ’s in the I.E. as well as throughout Southern California. Beazie Beats has raised the bar in the I.E. music scene along with his team of local DJ’s and local media channels creating a musically diverse party scene with a loyal fan base.
Currently, he has worked in a number of major nightclubs throughout Southern California performing with major DJ’s such as DJ Revolution, Mr. Choc, Trentino, and Kid Cut Up, just to mention a few. After dominating the local scene his desire to perfect the art of D.J. soon directed him to the elite Los Angeles Scratch Academy where he perfected the art of today’s modern D.J. It is without to say that his cross-genre mixes, turntablist’s skills, improvisation, intuitive crowd reading, and musical blends are a unique visceral experience. No doubt his talent, hard work, perseverance, and the direction of the DJ Scratch Academy have propelled Beazie Beats to the top of the DJ scene worldwide.
