The theme of the 2006 Youth for Christ Conference is: Get Crunk for Jesus. All area youth and youth ministries are invited to represent their church and ministry at a holy hip-hop party for Jesus that just won't stop! The preachers, sing, dance, act and rap about Jesus and His promises to the youth. "Saved by Grace", a minstry representing Huntsville, AL is a dance - drama ministry, specializing in mime; "Young Prayzr" and his friends "M.A.J.O.R.S." and "Chelsea and Kevin", are hip-hop gospel and praise and worship, ministers from Atlanta, Georgia for today's youth.

Temple of Praise Church Ministries, Inc. celebrated its Youth Explosion Revival with a banquet on Feb. 18, an event which saw the crowning of the 2006 Mr. and Miss Temple of Praise.
The theme for the Youth Explosion 2006 was "I Am Determined To Serve The Lord".
A highlight of the evening was the performance of 9-year old Tony Betton, Jr. nephew of Elder Kevin L. Betton.

Are you ready for a inspirational Explosion?! Then here comes T-REP! the Young Prayzr. A powerful example of God’s favour in full affect. T-REP! the Young Prayzr’s Senior Pastor, Bishop Eddie L. Long of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, GA encourages his flock to “TAKE AUTHORITY!” YP is walking in obedience & doing just that! With an undeniable talent and a clearly visable anointing, this 11-year old Holy Hip Hop/Urban Inspirational recording artist and emcee is dedicated to reaching the masses of all ages, races and music genres and having a whole lot of fun doing it.
Since he first stepped into the world of hip-hop in August of 2005, YP has made major accomplishments in a year’s time and has quickly established a huge and versatile fan base. To date, YP has blessed audiences with his ministry for over 90 occasions, including an impromptu appearance requested by Kirk Franklin himself. He has shared the stage as the opening artist for artists such as Charles & Taylor, Canton Jones, D-Class, Platinum Souls, Comedian Johnathan Slocum and many more.
YP was recently featured in a worldwide online interview and song feature on the Brother Tee Show (The Trinity Radio Network). He was also featured on the 92.1 FM Underground Gospel Radio Show with DJ Uncle Jeff. He has been spotlighted in 6 Newspaper articles with more interviews pending. He served as emcee for Bishop Eddie L. Long's (New Birth MBC) “The Gift In Me” Talent Show and also emceed and performed as a featured artist at New Birth's 2006 4th of July Celebration, opening up for The Annointed Pace Sisters. YP was recently a featured artist while performing for the 2006 National Urban League NULLITES Youth Explosion. His debut single, “Hittin’ Dem Streets!” has been selected for the award winning compilation CD series, “Holy Hip Hop Vol. 4 – Taking The Gospel To The Streets!” to be released worldwide on Oct 17th, 2006 and distributed by EMI Gospel. Artists everywhere are calling on YP for collabs and placement on compilations.

YP is multi-talented.
