Biography
Nikki Lang began playing the guitar at 6 years old. By the age of 15 she had appeared in clubs throughout Los Angeles and the west coast as both a solo artist and with her band.
Just 21, Nikki has toured nationally and internationally, and has been featured on radio, television, and in major newspapers and magazines such as USA Today, Teen and L.A. Daily News and was the cover for Ventura Boulevard Magazine and Health Monitor. Nikki was also featured in a segment on CBS News and USA Today.
Nikki’s music has been placed in many network and cable television shows including ABC’s Switched At Birth. Lifetime’s, Girl Fight and MTV’s Battle of the Exes.
As a touring artist, Nikki has played such notable venues such as the Roxy, House of Blues, the Knitting Factory Concert Houses (Reno, Spokane, Boise, Los Angeles, Brooklyn), Hotel Café, the Mint, the Bitter End, Genghis Cohen, the Union Room, Conga Room, venues throughout England and Ireland, and festivals such as South by Southwest, the Monterey Jazz Festival and Canadian Music Fest.
Recently Nikki’s music video, My Sad Hero was premiered and featured on MTV.
Nikki has just released the first single from her new project 100 Miles From Vegas, produced by Grammy Award winning producer Val Garay.
