I very good example of a good mix of guitar and vocals. The song tells a coherent story of the struggle to survive and working in the dirt. I would enjoy hearing the band live. I like the interplay of drums and vocals. - Garage Band
Nice touch with the horns! Catchy lyrics. Top-notch production. Really good! This track is another example of signable music. This music would be at home on College radio or mainstream country radio!!!

Great songwriting. Terrific voice and instrumentation. This is country music with major appeal!!!

You start out strong on this song. The intro was heavy. I thought it was going to be some power country ballad and then you get into this almost skiffle beat and bust into this fast Dylan-ish lyrical style. The instrumentation at times leans toward rock. I'd put this in the "creative genre" if there was one. Doesn't fit in country exactly but who cares. I like your lyrics and in this case the repetition is great. "How bout that". Sing it as often as you need. I like it. The production and mix are dead on for me. The vocal sits just right because of the voice and style of the song. You want to hear all those instruments as well. Very good mix. Another appealing thing is the length. I love a short song that leaves you feeling good and wanting more. Mission accomplished. Over all, one of the better songs I've heard even though your in this country genre. Got to rate it high. How bout that? - Garage Band
