"The popularity of this band is bound to spread as the music takes over." - The Advocate
"Winbourne’s EP, As We Are, is a high-powered group of songs that leaves little to be desired in the rock department. With verses that suggest alternative influences, powerful choruses and great guitar mixes, the group creates a unique, atmospheric blend of rock, pop and Southern soul." - 225 Magazine

Bio
Winbourne was founded in Baton Rouge, LA in June of 2009. The five Louisiana natives immediately began writing and playing in every popular venue in the city, such as Chelsea’s and The Varsity Theatre. They have joined forces with other popular local bands such as Jake Smith. They have grown out of the city since and recently added South-By-Southwest to their resume’, playing all over 6th street in Austin Texas.
Winbourne's "Retrospect" and "What Were You Thinking" were featured on MTV's reality T.V. show "The Real World, San Diego" and their newest single is set to be released in a new Hollywood film "Zombie Hamlet".
Winbourne has been featured in The City Social, Tiger Weekly, The LSU Daily Reveille, 225 Magazine, The Advocate, and many others, most of which have described the band’s sound as alternative rock.
With a rapidly growing fan base flocking to its Twitter and Facebook pages, Winbourne has received avid support of their originals. Fans’ favorites include “Easy,” “Let Me Love You,” and “Street Signs”. As the band gears up to get back in the studio to record a full length record their current focus is spreading their music to the world on their pilot E.P. “As We Are”. The six track record is now available on iTunes, Rhapsody, AOLMusic, and Amazon. With a growing fan base in South Louisiana and spreading outwards, the popular response to their EP and enthralling live performances now has Winbourne preparing to get back in the studio to release a full length LP. The details will be announced over the next few months. In the mean time, they continue to play locally and regionally as well as prepare for stage time in a slew of music festivals within the southeastern U.S. Whether blasting their live performances from the stage or rocking their “As We Are” EP through your own speakers, Winbourne will inspire you to Live Loud.
