Will Goss Band

The Will Goss Band is a piano rock group from Charleston, SC. Once described as “Elton John on steroids,” the band gives a soulful, high energy performance reminiscent of the piano rock artists of times past but with a refreshing modern sound.

The group successfully released their debut album in April 2015. Drawing from influences like Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Warren Zevon and many more, the songs on the album are diverse, ranging from fast, powerful tunes that will get you off your feet and dancing to satirical ballads that parody what modern love songs often sing about: the perfect romance. Despite such varied concepts from song to song, the album comes together under the umbrella of a single theme: a good melody with good lyrics wins the day.

After the CD release, the group has been performing non-stop all over the Carolinas, playing over 100 shows in the past year.

Will Goss, the lead singer and pianist endorsed by Nord Keyboards, demonstrates his passion for music every time he steps on the stage. Guitarist Matt Castellano plays soaring, melodic solos that complement the melody of each song. On drums, Trevor Kirkpatrick pounds home the groove with precision, keeping the group anchored in time. Veteran Alex Council fills out the low-end on bass.
