White Girl Lust rose from the ashes of acclaimed drum 'n bass duo D.Ecco & Sabotage in 2005. In that year Eric Kozak had lost interest in the stagnant scene which he had built his reputation. Childhood friend, Clay Meador had graduated college and was looking to utilize his refined music ability in a new capacity. The duo began experimenting with dance culture juxtaposition and WGL was born.
After multiple trials of musical exploration, hundreds of remixes, and successful underground events the team set it's sights on launching a new label, Solid Bump Records, in 2008. The label was founded under the same genre blending mantra as WGL. The releases to date span club ready bass bangers to soulful disco house.
2009 is poised to be huge for both White Girl Lust and the Solid Bump roster with 5 new releases prepared to drop by summer, planned tours, and remixes for established artist such as Top Billin' and Norrit.
