Where We Lay our heads are are an Alt Folk Pop band from Glasgow, Scotland. The band started in the spring of 2010 as a short term recording project of front man Wull Swales, but after encouragement from friends and even BBC Scotland, the project continued. The band was completed in the start of 2011, in that time they have recorded one full EP and an acoustic EP which has been featured on the likes of BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Radio 6, Glasgow Podcart, Radio Magnetic, Subcity Radio, Netsounds Radio, Pulse FM and Fresh Air.The band despite only playing their first show in Febuary have recently been enjoying live dates at King Tuts Summer Nights Festival, Glasgow's West End Festival, Carefully Planned Festival in Manchester and supporting the likes of The Black Atlantic(DEN), Withered Hand, Jeniferever(SWE), Grandfather Birds, I'm From Barcelona(SWE), Let's Whisper(USA) David Dondero(USA) and The Shivers(USA).
