Bio
Voices of the Broken, has been together for 6 years. We live in Leesville, Louisiana. We started out as a harder praise and worship band and have evolved into a Christian alternative/hard rock band. We have a blend of female vocals, screams, and harmonies that, when paired with the metal leanings of our lead guitarist and drummer, make for a very unique sound.
We are fully capable of playing praise and worship, and often still do, but our passion is for the songs that God has given us. We have approximately 15 original songs, and this number is continually growing.
Some of our musical influences include Mudvayne, Breaking Benjamin, and Avenged Sevenfold. Our vocal influences are Evanescence, Breaking Benjamin, and Five Finger Death Punch. Some of our lyrical influences are Evanescence, Breaking Benjamin, and authors such as Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti.
