Bio
Vinyl Film is a rock 'n roll band that combines classic and modern rock influences creating an inspired sound exemplifying their eclectic musical tastes. Since the January conclusion of their highly acclaimed West Coast tour North Bound and Down, they have been lighting up San Diego stages with their high-energy live shows, garnering the attention of local music insiders. Cathryn Beeks of Listen Local San Diego has proclaimed that they are the “real deal” and expects a brilliant future for this talented group. Andrew Rowly of 91X describes Vinyl Film as “An explosion of fun and rock-n-roll, great musicians and great songs; a winning combo!” Keith Miller, “Madison” from the KPRI early morning show states that he has never received a disc to review in which “Each song is better than the last.” saying, “There is not a bad song on this album.” Drawing comparisons to everything from Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers to early-era U2, their ambition and passion for music is undeniable.
Their debut E.P. "Save It 'til The Morning," produced & engineered at Big Fish Studios by Ben Moore (Hot Snakes, Switchfoot, The Night Marchers) was released in January 2010 in conjunction with their two week west coast tour. It is an exciting time for these young men who have dedicated all of their passion, sweat, and energy to their music. Vinyl Film Rocks!
