Bio
2007 was a year when VertigoNation re-defined their sound. There were several collaborations with American producers and engineers which gave them the opportunity to bring in a grittier side to their music. The song , "Nowhere" was put on a CD compilation as a featured demo for Future Music magazine. They also got a taste for a larger audience after opening for the band Olympic to a massive crowd early in the year. It was through a local competition however that they got to strut their arresting mix of styles on MTV for a live performance.
It was then that they started to receive local airplay both traditional and internet broadcast.
The song, "Don't Want You Near" was featured on an internet promo.
It has just been confirmed that another one of their songs "Paralysed" will be included on a compilation CD of unsigned artists that will be released nationally.
Already 2008 has proven an exciting year for the band as the are receiving radio play around the world on independent stations and are attracting just as an eclectic fanbase.
