Bio

S Dot VENOM has always been striving to be a unique inspirational artist and producer with aspirations of evolving the ideology of main stream music.

S Dot VENOM is derived from S.I.V.R.A.J. VENOM which is an acronym from surviving intensive variables remaining astounding is "Jarvis." S Dot was born in Oakland California and spent most of his childhood there before moving to Pittsburg ca. at the age of 10.

As a child S Dot began to love music, he was inspired in church watching the drummer play Sunday mornings. His parents nurtured his aspirations by buying him his 1st drum set when he was 6 years old.

In Junior high school S Dot learned to play the clarinet & the saxophone and started to develop an ear for good music. Even though his ability for creating original music surpassed his ability to read music it didn't stop him from participating in Jazz & Symphonic bands.

In high school he continued playing the saxophone in the marching band. Once S Dot was able to work he stopped playing in the band and began saving his pay checks for production & recording equipment. By his Junior year in high school he was talented enough to start selling his music & lyrics in R&B for a profit. He also had an R&B group and singer whom helped him refine his song writing ability along with his knowledge and terminologies in the R&B world. By the time he graduated from high school he had a reputation around campus for being a good rapper, music producer and R&B song writer.

After high school S Dot became certified in recording arts and brushed up his technical skills in engineering. By 2006 he got his 1st gig with a local artist doing writing, producing and a little bit of engineering. Some of his work made it in rotation in the local radio station.

Since then S Dot VENOM has been focusing on developing his vocals while maintaining & mastering the science of rapping and the production of music. S Dot feels that after more than 12 years of development he's ready as a rapper, R&B singer & engineer collectively and independently.

He feels as if he's finally learned the psychology of giving the audience what they want in the club while giving them what they need in the album. As an artist he writes 1-2 new songs a week & makes at least 1 new instrumental a week. He's one of the hardest workers in the studio and never stops until he feels he has a hit on his hands.

His influences are Tupac because of his passion for politics as well as his explosive delivery. Kanye west for his ability to be a successful rapper/producer who's from the hood yet doesn't glorify its violence. DJ Quik for being an outstanding west coast rapper/producer & extraordinary engineer. Dr Dre for his painstaking effort to be unique & taking his time to find the perfect sound for each track. Last but not least Drake for holding it down as a rapper/singer.

S Dot VENOM has a unique blend of humor, humility, politics & motivation in his music. He's vowed to keep his audience involved and never to become complacent. Stay on the look out because he's on his way
