A beautiful folk-rock song constructed from resonant, honest vocals and cycling fiddle built on a strong bass & drum foundation, which gathers energy and momentum as it rolls along.

The Columbus-born, Brooklyn-based Umbrella Men are a pair of multi-talented brothers who craft impeccable folk-rock tunes. They, too, have a surprisingly full sound — the two alternate roles, constantly switching around instruments and trading off the vocals for a perfect combination of the simplicity of two musicians and the richness of four or five. Their songs range from somber bordering on dark, with tracks like "I Don't Emote" (personal favorite) and "Dying Day" to over-the-top, almost cheesy but self-aware enough to work tracks like "Sing Along Song" and "Pocket Full of Roses."

Bio
Brooklyn based, and Ohio bred brothers Danny and David Tuss combine folky Ohio River music with a DIY rock aesthetic as the Umbrella Men. Formed in 2006, the Umbrella Men are self taught multi-instrumentalists who blend elements of plaintive Midwestern folk with gritty guitar riffs and soaring violin hooks.
The duo has most recently contributed their signature sound to the score for the award winning Discovery Channel film by Isabella Rossellini titled: Animals Distract Me, a full length follow up to the music they composed for Rossellini's award winning Sundance Channel shorts 'Green Porno' and 'Seduce Me'. The Green Porno series has played at the Tribeca, Toronto, and Berlin Film Festivals and has won two Webby Awards. Animals Distract Me played at numerous festivals including the Sundance Festival.
