Biography
Tyler Conti grew up in Portland, Oregon. He started singing at an early age. By the time he was six years old, people were taking notice of how well he sang: He would learn Prince and Michael Jackson songs from the radio and sing them perfectly.
Tyler has continued to develop his strong, soulful voice. He recently completed his first album, entitled Dreaming. The music on the record seamlessly incorporates inspirations from R&B, Soul, Rock, Pop, and Gospel to create a unique and timeless sound.
Some of the most accomplished and legendary figures of R&B and Soul worked on Dreaming. Greg Phillinganes (Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton, and Aretha Franklin) played keyboards, Peter Mokran (Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, R. Kelly, and Quincy Jones) mixed the record, Pete Antunes (Macy Gray) played drums, and Alex Evans (Patti LaBelle) played bass.
Tyler Contis music has been featured in an international McDonalds commercial and in the major motion pictures House of Wax and The Haunted Mansion. He has worked with Will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas, DJ Quick, David Foster, and Swizz Beatz. His record Dreaming has been listed in the Recent Hits and the Hot Indie Titles sections in the R&B/Soul section of iTunes.
Tyler recently won first place in the talent contest at the White Nights Music Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia. Over 12,000 people attended the festival, which was televised throughout Europe. Vanity Fair Italy did a photo shoot and interview with him after he won. Tyler is the featured vocalist on two time Grammy nominee B.Slades (formerly known as Tonex) new single, No More Room.
