Twelve(One)

On December 1st, 1986, Chicago artist Twelve(One) was born into the world, 24 years later he finds himself trying to connect with all walks of life thru his music and message. A seasoned musician and producer who plays guitar, bass, keys. Twelve(One) became an MC over a year ago, but he has been playing instruments for almost 12 years now. After numerous stints in bands and a bunch of live performance experience, He is now trying to bridge the gap between fans and good music that is hard to find. From an artistic standpoint, Twelve(One) fuses his love of my genres of music in his body of work. Highly influenced by the golden age of hip-hop, it's not hard to find influences of A tribe called quest, Pete Rock, and Gang Starr, however, at the same time, his style is unique enough to be considered his own. When listening to Twelve(One), the audience is thrust into a complex world of love, life, energy, soul, deception, fame, and heartbreak created by a visionary MC with a goal of making real art relevant again. The only drawback is the way Twelve(One) leaves his fans on the edge of their seats wanting more....
