Triky

Triky began to DJ and produce music under this name in 2003 at 15 years of age and has since become an established Hip Hop and Trance DJ and producer of electronic music.

With a style of music varying from electro to cutting edge trance, Triky has honed his skills by collaborating with artists including Strange Planet, Con-X-Ion, Psyboriginal and spending time with various other artists in the studio, whilst also studying audio at SAE Byron Bay.

He established Triky Entertainment in 2006 as an independent record label and production company to be used as a means of releasing and promoting his music.

In 2007 he released his first two albums, Permanent Damage and Tweaked, via Triky Entertainment, and distributed through MGM Distribution and various online music stores including iTunes. Post release, a promo tour was held on the east coast of Australia.

Triky played nightclubs in Kuta, Bali and travelled through Indonesia for more shows during 2008.

Since then Triky has been recording new tracks which have been released on the albums Electric and Filtered in June 2010. He will head to China in July 2010 where he is lining up gigs (to be announced) and the rest of 2010 sees work on some new material and tracks including remixes and tracks at 135 BPM.

HIGHLIGHTS

2005 – Played Hip Hop at Play nightclub, Byron Bay, with Roc Raida and DJ Noodles on the line up.

2006 – Numerous gigs at Candy’s Apartment, Kings Cross

2007 – Two Albums Released, Permanent Damage and Tweaked
Played Dance Portal event in Melbourne
New Generation Parties held in Sydney and Byron Bay.

2008 – Played throughout Indonesia Hip Hop and Trance
Played Hip Hop for underage party at Bondi Beach

2009 – Worked as Assistant Production for Eclipse Music

2010 – 3rd Album Electric and 4th album Filtered are released
