So I guess as my first blog, I should make it an explanation of myself and my music for those who don't understand. Let's start with the name I chose. I chose "Traded Memories" as a project name because I was trying to think of band names with one of my friends who was going to do this project with me. And suddenly it hit me that music in the traditional sense are just stories passed down from others. Music in this day are usually stories about love, hate, sex, etc. But they are still stories...yet what IS a story but someone elses memory. We tell stories we heard from others all the time. We're in the act of trading memories. Hence the name.

The lyrics reflect this philosophy in the sense that all my songs can be read as a story. yet the people in the songs are always different because they represent different areas of the human mind from others. As for the project choice and reasoning? Well I wanted to share my ideas with anyone who wanted to listen. in this vast sea of amnesia we'll only remember the dreams and stories of those who have told them.
