Township

Formed in early 2006, Township brings a sexy swagger back to rock and roll, the likes not seen since the heyday of 70’s classic rock bands Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, Grand Funk Railroad and Bad Company. Marc Pinansky (vocals, guitar), John Sheeran (bass, vocals), Alex Necochea (guitar, vocals) and newest member Peter MacLean (drums) are the mighty Township. In just a few short years, the band has won the WBCN Rock & Roll Rumble (2007), toured extensively playing dates with Electric Six, Bad Company, The Greenhornes, Cinderella and State Radio and released 5 cd’s including 2011’s “One More Summer. A new record is planned for spring 2013.
While some bands put on a vintage t-shirt and think that buys them cred, Township worships at the altar of all who came before them by turning it up, tearing it out and not leaving the stage until the crowd is theirs.
