facts about tony schunko:
Tony Schunko started in 2008 by accident, when Tony, a shouter of an brutal thrash/death band kept his promise to play a Bon Jovi song for a couple of girls! He asked 'Jon Bon' Schunko for help...
That's how the band 'Tony Schunko' was born and only
two months later they recorded their first songs and travelled through UK! Already
in August the independent movie 'Movin' to L.A.' was shot in Los Angeles and
'Tony Schunko' became the band in the movie that tried to fulfill their own kind
of Rock'n'Roll dreams in this city of fallen angels.
This project brought them various radio interviews in Germany, where they talked
about their experiences and even to public television, where they did a couple
of life shows and a tour/making-of diary.
As 'Tony Schunko' is only a pair of music loving friends they let things become
quiet again, cause both having their own non-commercial bandprojects, too but as
rehearsalroom neighbours they met often again and were jamming. With their
mainbands, they did numerous concerts throughout the year - including also
international touring via Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and deep east
Ukraine (ex-Russia), until the call of Hollywood hauled in again. 272records from
Hollywood asked them to take a song onto their acoustic sampler 'Acoustica
Vol.17'.
Tony and Daniel sat together once again and as a matter of fact new songs were born.
So, if you have the wish to become part of their future story, feel free to book 'em - whereever you are !
what will 2010 happen?:
once again they will tour through California, once again they will play at the legendary Whisky a Gogo, once again they will hit UK's roads , but this time they'll wont come back.....
